2025 Boys Track and Field Practice and Meet/Invitational Schedule

Before the season begins, you need to register for Boys Track and Field online with the PSHS Athletic Dept. and have an updated sports physical in the PSHS Athletic Dept.

***All Track and Field Practices and Meets are mandatory. This includes being present at the practice or meet for the entire time. Please know our Team Attendance Policy.

MAKING A COMMITMENT TO THIS SCHEDULE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE GROWTH OF OUR PROGRAM AND SUCCESS OF YOUR TEAM IN THIS 2025 TRACK AND FIELD SEASON!!  100% PERFECT ATTENDANCE IS OUR EXPECTATION AND THE STANDARD!  PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING DAYS AND TIMES, PREPARE AND PLAN AHEAD TO BE A CHAMPION.

**Your 2025 Championship Season begins on January 27th and will conclude on May 31st.

**Make sure you are on our REMIND app and our Track and Field Google Classroom for Boys Track and Field for updates and changes.  Please check back on this schedule on a weekly basis.

Monday, January 27, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.  PARENT MEETING AT 5:15PM in Room 193.

Tuesday, January 28, 2025  - Team Practice 2:30pm to 4:30pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Wednesday, January 29, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Thursday, January 30, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 4:30pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Friday, January 31, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Saturday, February 1, 2025 -  Team Practice (Team Time Trail Day) 11:00am to 1:15pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Monday, February 3, 2025 - Team Practice Before School 5:00am to 6:30am at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Tuesday, February 4, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 4:30pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Field Event Practices will begin on February 5th.  We will post the Field Event list on your Track and Field Google Classroom, if you are attending Field Event Practices.  If you attend the Field Event Practice, you do not attend the Track Practice on that day.  If you have any questions, please talk to Coach Crowe in person.

Wednesday, February 5, 2025 - Track Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.  Field Event Practice 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Thursday, February 6, 2025 - Team Practice - 2:30pm to 4:30pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.  TEAM FUNDRAISER MEETING AT 4:00PM.

Friday, February 7, 2025 - Track Practice - 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.  Field Event Practice 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Saturday, February 8, 2025 - Distance Practice 7:30am to 9:00am.  Location: Millbrook Junior High.

Monday, February 10, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Tuesday, February 11, 2025 - Track Practice 2:30pm to 4:30pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.  Field Event Practice 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.  UNIFORM HANDOUT - Seniors at 4:00pm. Juniors at 4:15pm. Sophomores at 4:40pm.  Freshmen at 5:00pm.  

Wednesday, February 12, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Thursday, February 13, 2025 - Plainfield South vs. Minooka and Neuqua Valley at the PSHS Fieldhouse.  We will set up the Fieldhouse at 2:30pm.  Team Warm Up at 4:00pm.  

Friday, February 14, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse. 

Saturday, February 15, 2025 - Lakes "Clash at the Coliseum" Invitational.  Bus Time: 6:00am.

Monday, February 17, 2025 - Presidents' Day.  No School.  Distance Practice at ON YOUR OWN. Stay warm and safe as you get in your miles.

Tuesday, February 18, 2025 - Track Practice and Field Event Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Wednesday, February 19, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.  FUNDRAISER BLITZ!! We go LIVE!

Thursday, February 20, 2025 - Track Practice 2:30pm to 4:30pm.  Throwers have 2 courts at 2:30pm to 4:30pm.  Field Event Practice 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Friday, February 21, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:30pm (Invite Set Up and Practice) at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Saturday, February 22, 2025 - Plainfield South Indoor Varsity and Frosh/Soph Invitataional.  Arrive at 7:30am.  Team Warm Up at 8:00am.  Invite begins at 9:00am.

Monday, February 24, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Tuesday, February 25, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse. Entire Fieldhouse for Field Events.

Wednesday, February 26, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Thursday, February 27, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse. Entire Fieldhouse for Field Events.

Friday, February 28, 2025 - Team Practice 10:00am to 12noon at the PSHS Fieldhouse (Teachers' Institute Day).

Saturday, March 1, 2025 - Team Practice 8:00am to 10:00am at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

If the Weather is above 40 degrees, prepare to go outside for our entire Team Practice.  We will post updates on our Google Classroom.

Monday, March 10, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 4:15pm.  Downers Grove South Relay at North Central College (Varsity relays only).  Bus Time: 4:15pm.  Team Practice will be OUTSIDE at the PSHS Stadium Track.

Tuesday, March 11, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 4:30pm at the PSHS Stadium Track (OUTSIDE).

Wednesday, March 12, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Stadium Track (OUTSIDE).  TEAM PICTURES AT 4:30PM.

Thursday, March 13, 2025 - Track Practice 2:30pm to 4:30pm.  Field Event Practice 7:45pm to 9:30pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Friday, March 14, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm.  Batavia Distance Madness (Distance Qualifiers only). Bus Time: 2:45pm. 

Saturday, March 15, 2025 - Team Practice (Track and Full Field Events) 8:00am to 10:000am.  **Distance Practice 7:00am to 9:00am at PSHS Fieldhouse. 

Monday, March 17, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Tuesday, March 18, 2025 - Junior/Senior Practice 2:30pm to 3:30pm.  Plainfield Frosh/Soph City Championship at Plainfield North.  Bus Time: 4:00pm.

Wednesday, March 19, 2025 - Junior/Senior Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm.  Freshmen and Sophomores have the day off, unless you are competing at the SPC Varsity Championship on Friday 3/21.

Thursday, March 20, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 4:30pm at the PSHS Fieldhouse.

Friday, March 21, 2025 - Southwest Prairie Conference Indoor Track and Field Varsity Championship at Lewis University.  Bus Time: 2:30pm.

Saturday, March 22, 2025 - Distance Practice 8:00am to 10:00am at PSHS.

Monday, March 24, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm.

Tuesday, March 25, 2025 - Plainfield South Indoor Freshmen Invitational.  We will set up for the invite right after school.  Team Warm Up at 4:00pm. 

Wednesday, March 26, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 5:00pm. 

Thursday, March 27, 2025 - Team Practice 2:30pm to 4:30pm.

SPRING BREAK BEGINS!  We will have practices with your Event Groups over Spring Break.  These days and times will be posted soon.  Spring Break practices are not mandatory.  If you are going on vacation, please tell Coach Crowe.  If you stay home, attend the practices with your Event Group.

ALL PRACTICES for the remainder of the season will be OUTDOORS.  PREPARE AHEAD OF TIME AND DRESS WARM!!  WE WILL ALSO MOVE TO THE OUTDOOR LOCKER ROOM IN THE STADIUM BUILDING.  BRING A LOCK FOR YOUR OUTDOOR LOCKER.

Monday, March 31, 2025 - Throwers at PSHS 8:00am to 10:00am.  Sprinters and Jumpers at PSHS 10:00am to 12 Noon.  Distance Runners at McKInley Woods (I and M Canal Trail) 9:00am to 10:30am.

Tuesday, April 1, 2025 - Throwers at PSHS 8:00am to 10:00am.  Distance Runners at Hammel Woods 9:00am to 10:30am.

Wednesday, April 2, 2025 - Throwers at PSHS 8:00am to 10:00am.  Sprinters and Jumpers at PSHS 10:00am to 12 Noon.  Distance Runners at Waterfall Glen (Cass Ave. Trailhead) 9:00am to 10:45am.

Friday, May 2, 2025 - The Cougar Grand Prix (Middle School Invitational).  We will need 30 volunteers to help run the invitational.  We will set up at 2:30pm. Please sign up with Coach Vittorio.

After the meet at Minooka on May 6th, many of you will complete your Track and Field season.  You will turn in your entire uniform after we get back from Minooka.  The list of teammates that will turn in your uniform will be posted on the Track and Field Google Classroom.
